What are your favorite childhood memories?
Here are a few of mine.
1. Growing up with Betsy and Tacy
I envied Betsy's friends (singing around the piano, bonfires and church socials) and her family's traditions (Sunday night lunch), I craved her imagination (riding on a magical milk cart, floating on feathers over the town), and I longed for simpler times (5 cent soda shops).

2. Singing and dancing with Gene Kelly
"Singin' in the Rain" is seriously the best movie ever. Go watch it. Now.
3. "Sister Bonding Time" - which usually always meant a tea party
When my older sisters came home from college for a visit, we would always have a tea party the next morning. They would sleep in ridiculously late, which irritated my little sister and me to no end. We were so anxious to get the tea party started! We would take out the fancy tea-cups that we claimed for ourselves from my mom's china cabinet ("When mom dies I get this one"). We would put on fake British accents, lift our pinkies, and discuss our husbands and children. ("[name of crush] is at home with the children right now. Jolly good fellow!")
What are the memories that define your childhood?
As always, thanks for reading!
