Sleep is a priority for me, I try to get to bed before 11pm every night. I am not up until the wee hours doing homework, like some college students. I didn't even do that when I was in undergrad. You can ask my roommates, I was usually in bed before midnight. (They, on the other hand, survived on minimal sleep!) Which means my day consists of going to school, eating dinner with Peter, doing homework, sleepy time. Boring, I know. Sigh...
Here's a tiny peek at the homework I was working on tonight:
Formal (Harmonic and Structural) Analysis of the Bach motet, Lobet den Herrn, alle Heiden.
I am taking Form and Analysis right now (why wasn't this required in undergrad?!?!), so I don't really know if I'm doing this right, but I will find out tomorrow in my lesson! :)
Thanks for reading!
xo,
Julie

When I was an undergrad, my advisors said it wasn't required for a degree, but it was a prereq for most grad schools. I took it with Neufeld.
ReplyDeleteEvery time I tried to take it in ug the time conflicted with a class that actually was required. Oh well, i actually know quite a bit from just being a musician for so long, now I just have to learn the terminology that my professor wants...
