Julie-hair, sans product...just air. I told Peter, "I add the product (mousse or cream) to encourage ringlets." Peter said, "Yeah...I like the ringlets..."
The length prevents excess puffiness. You can kind of see that underneath is curlier (frizzier, more coarse) than the top.
